Membership

If you are interested in becoming a member, you will need:

  • to be above the minimum legal age for your country of residence;
  • some experience of meditation;
  • a basic understanding and experience of ritual;
  • to be able to attend group meetings - that's where the work of our Order takes place;
  • to welcome debate, contribute to it and share your ideas;
  • a respectful attitude towards others; and
  • to be able and willing to spend time in meditation and study outside group meetings.

Although not essential, you may find it helpful to be familiar with a mystery or esoteric tradition. This will give you a foundation on which to build.

The British Martinist Order does not have a correspondence course, so to be a member you need to be able to attend a working group or be willing to set-up a new group in your locality.

There are Lodges in the following locations:

United Kingdom

Coventry

Brazil (Portuguese Language)

Belo Horizonte

Bahia (Study Group)

Piuma City (Study Group)

Even if there isn’t a group in your area, please do not let this put you off applying as there might already be other people in your region that would be willing to set-up a new group.

If you wish to apply, please print this form, complete it, sign it and post it to the address on the form or send it by email.
