The British Martinist Order is an initiatic order with three stages or degrees. We follow an inner course or path based on an ancient system of oral teaching and personal study. We explore the many aspects of Divinity in a non-dogmatic way.
For each degree there is a written handbook of discourses that guide our study and debate.
We meet regularly in a ritual setting. Within our rituals we follow a course of structured study and enquiry. We indulge in rigorous philosophical debate. We respect the beliefs and views of others.
We also have a weekly personal ritual that reinforces our link with Order. The degree handbook can be used at any time for personal study.
We strive to take what we understand from our inner work into our attitudes and behaviour.
